Canine Multifocal Retinopathy (CMR) is an eye disorder causing degeneration in multiple areas of the retina. Onset is usually between 11 and 16 weeks and is thought generally to not affect vision.
Canine Multifocal Retinopathy is an autosomal recessive condition caused by a mutation in the BEST1 gene.
This test is also included in the following Foresight Health® breed packages:
- American Bulldog (Type 1)
- Australian Shepherd (Type 1)
- Bulldog (Type 1)
- Finnish Lapphund (Type 3)
