Musladin-Leuke Syndrome (MLS) causes increased amounts of connective tissue in the skin and joints. From birth this is usually visible in stiff joints and tight skin. Affected dogs may also have seizures, but symptoms tend to stabilise around one year of age, and dogs can have a normal life-span but with a tendency for arthritis.

An autosomal recessive condition caused by a mutation in the ADAMTSL2 gene.
