Description

Lysosomal Storage Disease (LSD), sometimes called Lagotto Storage Disease, is a disease which affects an enzyme during metabolism of cellular material and affects the nervous system. This causes abnormal gate, lessened reflexes, weak limbs, and behavioural changes. The disease progresses at different speeds, and results in euthanasia for quality of life purposes.

An autosomal recessive condition caused by a mutation in the ATG4D gene.
