The guideline turnaround time for single tests is approximately 10-12 working days after the swab arrives at the lab. 

If you need more than two tests it is often more cost-effective to order the relevant breed package.

Description

Ichthyosis (ICT) is a condition resulting in flaky skin and dull hair, which can vary greatly between affected dogs. Dogs are generally otherwise healthy but do have a risk of skin infection.

An autosomal recessive condition caused by a mutation in the PNPLA1 (Type A) or NIPAL4 (American Bulldog Type) gene.
